TYPES OF SUPPORT
Treatments that work
EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING (EMDR)
Trauma comes from the Latin Word “Wound”. Every person can define their own wounds and all wounds can be helped with EMDR therapy.
What can be wounds? Some common wounds are sexual, physical, emotional, abuse or neglect. Natural disasters, car accidents, seeing someone be hurt or injured, being hurt or injured yourself, painful medical procedures, divorces.
Some other common wounds are: bullying, embarrassment, moving, exposure to frightening media, etc.
When a wound occurs - at any point in life - it creates a sore sport. After that, when something reminds you of the wound and it hits the sore spot, you may react more than you think you should. EMDR helps heal that sore spot.

SSP Helps
Feel more safe, calm, grounded and resilient. Feel less irritable, anxious and overwhelmed.
Think more clearly, attentively, and creatively. Think less rigidly, disorganized and distractible.
Connect more openly, genuinely and wholly. Connect less guardedly, distantly and oppositionally.
